TJ stopped by the Tolstoi Made Studios for a very special season 2 finale!
38 episodes people! We did it!
We do a shitty round of Tolstoi Made Impressions and introduce a brand new game called Tolstoi Made Roast Jokes! *Note: Our roast jokes are out of love!
Also, John and I both send our sincerest apologies out to Tommy Morgan Sr and Mommy Morgan Jr for the horrific things we say. Our bad!

Matthew, Davey and Smalls of the band Frontier Ruckus came by the Tolstoi Made Studios.
Frontier Ruckus is a folk/indie band from Michigan who were heading to play a festival in Omaha and stopped in Des Moines for a one-nighter at Gas Lamp.
It was after a Frontier Ruckus concert in Omaha in 2011 that Patrick decided to try stand up, so it was fun talking to them about that (and weird).
We talked about how they started, their upcoming album "Eternity of Dimming" and what it's like being a band on the road.
The guest co-host is LEO Nick Lennemann

Colin Ryan, Ireland's favorite son (probably), was in town recording his first comedy album, so he stopped by the Tolstoi Made Studios to record another episode.
We talk about being a new father, bombing and "The Troubles".
M.H. couldn't be on this episode because he was doing a show out of town, so friend of the show, fan of the show, a real Leo, Luke Ritter sat in for him.
No joke, this was one of my favorite episodes we've done. Please enjoy it.

Two episodes this week! How Exciting!
If you listened to episode 24, then you know John had to serve a 1 week ban because he tried to steal another man's identity. (Verbal Kent).
So this week, Brandon Ream sat in as co-host and we talked to Iowa City comedian Bobby Ray Bunch.
Bobby is a very funny comic who was in the top 5 of the QC4 comedy competition. He was in the airforce, he currently goes to college and he's opened for such acts as Todd Barry, April Macie, Josh Blu and Don Tjernagel.
This episode was a lot of fun, and Brandon really killed it as co-host. (jk lolerz)

What an episode!
This special MID-WEEK episode has a titan of comedy on it: Willie Fratto-Farrell!
Not only is he the Godfather of Des Moines comedy, which you have seen on HBO, Showtime, A&E, ESPN and countless comedy clubs around the country, but he is also an amazing guy to spend 2 hours with!
Willie tells us about starting out comedy in the early 1980's, what made him decide to leave The Comedy Store and LA behind to come home to the Midwest and how he has found a way to make a living as one of the most talented comics working today AND be just a regular father and husband.
Listen to this episode soon, and listen to it often.

We drove up to Ames, Iowa and recorded Ben at the 105.1 New Rock studio where he records his weekly radio show "Iowa Unsigned".
Ben has been doing stand up for 10 years. He has great stories about the evolution of Iowa comedy, trying out for Last Comic Standing and what it feels like to be a comic so many years in.
This was a great podcast. I know you'll love it.

In this episode I sat down with Chicago comic Drew Michael, who was in town doing a show at Drake University.
Drew was really interesting to talk to. Much like in the Jermaine Fowler episode, it's great to talk to someone who I don't know personally & who has a different back ground then most of my guests.
You can follow Drew on twitter @DrewMComedy and find him on facebook.
