Gideon is funny. This was the drunkest podcast I've done in awhile. We had a blast.

Be sure to stick it out past the hour mark to hear the two of us do some improv and you can hear my uncanny impression of Kidder Gidder's fiance.

Anthony Lobaito was on episode 3 back when I still had the old microphone. He makes a triumphant return to the podcast and we had a lot of fun.

We drank the entire time, and as usual, the wheels come off in the second half, we go a little long, but had a lot of fun.

Also, this one has been in the can for quite a while, which is why we make references to things such as Amy Winehouse being a live and AK's and Peoples being Open Mics.

Please enjoy!

Comedian Luke Ritter and I get deep on this episode.

We talk about his failed music career in Lincoln and what it's like being a new comic in Des Moines.

You'll laugh, you'll cry.

Also, I recommend you always listen to all episodes with ear buds.

Colin Ryan is great. From Ireland, now living in rural Iowa, he definitely has an interesting story.

Colin's been doing stand up for 5 years in both Ireland and Iowa and he recently won the 2011 Comedy Underground Stand Up Showdown.

He'll be doing shows Friday October 7th @ South Main Events in Monticello, Iowa at 9pm & Saturday October 15th @ The Ember Lounge in Davenport at 10pm.

Go and see him, you wont be disappointed.

Episode 10 folks! In this episode I sat down with a great NYC based comedian Jermaine Fowler.

Jermaine is a fun dude with a great attitude towards stand up. The kind of guy who you like to see good things happen to.

You can visit Jermaine's website http://www.JermaineFowler.com

and follow him on twitter @JermaineFOWLER

If you live in the Iowa City area, get out and see Jermaine on October 7th when he comes through with Nick Vatterott and TJ Miller.

If you got this off Itunes, leave positive feedback.

EPISODE 7 IS HERE! The new microphone is working great, and in this episode I sat down with awesome comic Andrew Lopez. Andrew has been doing stand up for a few years and books shows for Iowa State University so he has met and worked with a lot of awesome people.

We both got drunk as this podcast went on, so towards the end we start giving our opionins on stuff even though know one gives a shit.

This was a fun episode, it's a little long, but still, I hope you like it. Please leave positive feedback for us on the itunes page and utilize the hashtag #TMSP on twitter.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
